3. BASIC AESTHETICS

Course Description:

This is an entry level diploma; our courses are tailored for complete beginners so you do not need to have any prior beauty or aesthetic industry experience or qualifications for this course. Whether you are looking to open your own beauty/aesthetic business or to work within a clinic/spa, this course will provide you with the certifications you need to get you started on your journey to becoming a qualified Therapist!

Skin analysis and determination of skin types using magnification and other techniques ;skin exfoliation, steam extraction, manual facial techniques and European massage as well as introduction to facials with the aid of machines and use of specialty masks;

Basic make-up application and over view in art of makeup which sets the foundation for higher level makeup training. Training on Eyelash and Brow, understanding the different shapes of eyes and brows, creating designs based on suitable shapes using individual eye lash extensions , lash perming treatment and tinting as well as learning the ancient art of threading: Understanding of hair growth patterns, face and body waxing techniques for upper lip, underarm, half leg, full leg, bikini as well understanding of the use of soft, creme and honey wax on all areas of the body and Brazilian strip wax for bikini.
